finger efficiency

In this lesson you will comp the shell voicings with efficiency of finger movement. Note that the only change is with the (V) chord - When moving from the (ii) chord to the (V) chord we only move the left thumb down a half step creating a new chord - the (9th) played (5-3-7-9).

To play smoothly and effortlessly we need to reduce the movement of your hands and your fingers to a minimum. Keep your fingers touching the keys as much as you can. If you find that your fingers are lifting off the keyboard, then try to correct yourself - Note that Ben is using these finger efficiencies in the following video.
